STEP 1

Remove the standard shifter, shift boot and trim. Remove any existing shift boot retainers from the shift boot if applicable to your vehicle.

STEP 2

Flip the shift boot inside out. Insert the Shift Boot Retainer PLUS+ upside down from the bottom side of the shift boot. Push the Shift Boot Retainer PLUS+ through the shift boot until it is just below the opening of the shift boot.

STEP 3

Secure the shift boot to the Shift Boot Retainer PLUS+ using the provided zip-tie. The zip-tie should be installed on the outside of the shift boot and around the lower collar of the Shift Boot Retainer PLUS+. Once the zip-tie is tight, trim the excess tag.

STEP 4

Flip the shift boot back over the Shift Boot Retainer PLUS+. Re-attach the shift boot and trim to the vehicle while sliding the Shift Boot Retainer PLUS+ over the shifter assembly.

STEP 5

Install the PLUS+ adapter and shifter/extension. To see our PLUS+ adapter guides, click here.

STEP 6

Once the PLUS+ shifter/extension is installed, clip the Shift Boot Retainer PLUS+ into the base of the shifter/extension. Apply pressure until you feel the Shift Boot Retainer PLUS+ click into place. Enjoy!
